The Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX to capture the franchise’s second Super Bowl victory, and four former Alabama players will receive a Super Bowl ring.
Jalen Milroe, Robbie Ouzts, Josh Jobe and Jarran Reed are the former Alabama players that played for the Seahawks this year.
Jobe and Reed made some significant plays this season for the Seattle Seahawks, and they did their jobs in the Super Bowl. Jobe finished with seven total tackles and a pass deflection, and Reed finished the game with two total tackles while contributing as a member of Seattle’s loaded defensive front.
Ouzts was used as a fullback in certain formations this year, officially making the switch from tight end when he got settled in with the Seahawks. He was not much of a pass catching tight end at Alabama as he was used as a blocker in the multiple tight end sets that DeBoer likes to have. Ouzts was listed as a tight end at Alabama but was mainly considered a “H-back”.
This was Milroe’s rookie season. He was drafted No. 92 overall by the Seahawks, and he served as a backup throughout the year, learning from Sam Darnold.
No team was represented in the Super Bowl more than Alabama. The Patriots had Christian Barmore, Anfernee Jennings and CJ Dippre.
