The Arizona Cardinals conducted an interview with Seattle Seahawks defensive passing game coordinator Karl Scott on Thursday according to CBS Sports.

Scott helped the Seahawks rank No. 1 in scoring defense on its way to winning the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots.

Prior to the Seahawks, Scott served as a defensive backs coach with the Minnesota Vikings. But it was his work with the Alabama Crimson Tide which attracted him to the NFL.

Scott spent three seasons at Alabama (2018-2020) where he helped develop the likes of future NFL cornerbacks Patrick Surtain, Trevon Diggs, Josh Jobe and Jaylin Armour-Davis.

He also helped the Crimson Tide win the national championship in 2020.
