Alabama and Florida are among the programs showing interest in Ballard. Neither program has offered him yet, but this is subject to change. The Gators are hosting him on Thursday.
Ballard’s dad is Howard Ballard, who made two Pro Bowls as an offensive lineman in the NFL. His older cousin is Cederian Morgan, who is a freshman wide receiver for the Crimson Tide
Ballard possesses positional versatility, blending size and athleticism. He can be a tight end or wide receiver at the next level. His size makes him a mismatch against defenders attempting to cover him. He flashes good ball skills with long arms, which points to him having a wide catch radius.
As he continues to develop his game, Ballard wants to perfect his route running as an area he wants to continue to focus on.
