A familiar face has returned to ESPN’s College GameDay set.
Lee Corso, a former college football player and coach, did not travel last year due to COVID-19.
In his emotional return to his colleagues, the beloved commentator made a sharp statement about Alabama football. Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide are going after back-to-back national championships for the first time since 2011 and 2012. After a perfect season in 2020, the Tide has a different team. Alabama has veteran leadership on defense and an offense that looks to prove it’s as good as last year’s.

It is never wise to bet against Coach Saban, but Corso is willing to take a chance.
His biggest question is can Alabama win back-to-back national titles?
“The question is, percentage-wise, not so fast my friend,” Corso said. ” In the past, Alabama has had many chances to win it and has not won (back to back) national championships since 2012.”
Kirk Herbstreit added on to Corso’s statement as he asked if there is a prediction coming. He wanted to know if the man behind the legendary headgear is not feeling the Tide this year.
“You got it,” Corso responded.
Corso does not see Alabama capturing a national championship. It replaces a lot on offense; however, sophomore quarterback Bryce Young has the team’s full confidence. He will face D’Eriq King and the Miami Hurricanes next week to open the season.
Saban is known for proving people wrong. He is set to make Corso unsuccessful with his words.
