Derrick Henry is 63 rushing yards away from his fourth straight 1,000-yard season.

His push for a third straight NFL rushing title may have ended during Sunday’s matchup between the Titans and Colts.

He recorded 68 yards rushing on 28 carries but suffered a fracture to his foot. According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Henry’s injury is potentially season-ending and would require surgery. He will undergo an MRI today that will determine the full extent of the damage.

Despite the Titans earning a 34-31 win over the Colts, losing Henry would derail its offensive attack.

Since 2018, he has become one of the league’s most dominant running backs. Henry leads the league for carries (219), yards (937), and touchdowns (10). He has five 100-yard rushing games and has Tennessee leading the AFC South at 6-2.

Alabama fans and Titan fans are hoping for no serious damage to his foot. If it is season-ending, the hope is for a strong recovery.
