Derrick Henry is returning for the Tennessee Titans at the most crucial time.

He has missed a little over two months with a foot injury, but Henry has looked smooth at practice. As a two-time NFL rushing champion, he told reporters he is ready to get on the field and play again. His team won an AFC South Division title and clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs without him. Tennessee earned a first-round bye, and it allowed Henry to work his way back.

Before his injury, Henry had 219 carries for 937 yards rushing and ten touchdowns.

Despite missing time, he ranks in the top-10 for backs in the National Football League for carries, yards, and rushing scores.

Henry has five 100+ yard rushing performances on the season, and he is 63 yards away from his fourth straight 1,000-yard campaign since 2018. Henry did not discuss the number of carries he could see in Saturday’s AFC Divisional Playoff Round against Cincinnati, but the Bengals expect him to be heavily involved.

Crimson Tide fans would love to see Henry lead the Titans to the Super Bowl in his return to action. He will take on the Bengals at Nissan Stadium at 3:30 p.m. CT via CBS.
