Bo Scarbrough is expected to make a return to professional football soon.

According to Chase Goodbread, a Tuscaloosa News Sports Columnist, Scarbrough is looking to suit up with the Birmingham Stallions of the United States Football League. Scarbrough has also expressed this to Touchdown Alabama Magazine as he waits on the deal to be done. He was on the practice squad roster for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021 for a short period.

Scarbrough got taken in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys.

He has been with Jacksonville, Seattle (twice), and Detroit, but he is excited to have another opportunity.

Scarbrough arrived in the University of Alabama’s 2015 recruiting class (original member of the 2014 class) as a five-star running back from IMG Academy. As a Tuscaloosa native, he played at Northridge High School before transferring to IMG. Scarbrough totaled 1,512 yards rushing and 20 touchdowns in three seasons, including a career-high 812 yards and 11 scores in 2016.

If not for an injury versus Clemson in the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship Game (’16 season), Scarbrough would have delivered the Crimson Tide a national title. He was on two national championship teams (2015 and 2017) and two SEC Championship teams.
