William Satterwhite reported an offer from Alabama football in January during a busy month for his recruitment.

Satterwhite is a four-star recruit out of Hoban High School in Akron, Ohio. He holds 23 D1 offers, including offers from Alabama, Auburn and Colorado.

The Ohio product pulled in 10 of his 23 offers in January. Missouri became the latest to offer him on Feb. 1. Alabama’s offensive line coach Eric Wolford put the Crimson Tide in the mix for Satterwhite with an offer on Jan. 25.

The four-star recruit said he felt great and a lot of excitement when the Tide offered him.

“Most people can not say they have been offered by one of the best programs ever,” said Satterwhite.

Wolford will play a huge role in the Crimson Tide continuing to recruit Satterwhite. The new Alabama target had some great things to say about Wolford and the Tide after he earned the offer.

“It is a great program, of course,” Satterwhite said. “Coach Wolford is a great guy and easy to talk to. I can not wait to take a trip down there.”

At 6-foot-5 and 290 pounds, Satterwhite lined up at tackle and guard during the 2022 season. He showed an ability to get to the second level when run blocking and looked comfortable in pass protection. Wolford praised his footwork when offering him.

“He basically said I am a great player, he sees my potential and my footwork is incredible,” Satterwhite said.
