Muhammad is a former Washington defensive back, who the Crimson Tide hosted for an official visit last weekend.
Kalen DeBoer and company wanted to bring the talented defensive back along with them to Tuscaloosa and made a strong push for Muhammad, who many considered to be the top available defensive back in the portal. The Crimson Tide also hosted former Washington players, Germie Bernard, Parker Brailsford and Austin Mack last weekend. They all committed to transfer to Alabama.
