All Alabama football has to do is win out the rest of its regular season schedule.

Heather Dinich, a College Football Playoff expert for ESPN, said on Tuesday that she ‘would not count out the Crimson Tide’ from the initial 12-team CFP rankings reveal. Alabama made the reveal at No. 11, meaning it is in the dance for now.

If the Tide wins out and no one loses ahead of it, Alabama would travel for its first playoff game.

However, it has an opportunity to host a playoff game on Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium if it wins out and gets help. Tide fans are excited because they know all its team has to do is handle LSU, Oklahoma, and Auburn, and Alabama is in.

They reacted with joy on social media after the news happened.
