Tua Tagovailoa ended a three-game losing streak for the Miami Dolphins versus the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football.
Miami is not out of the playoff picture in the National Football League, but it needs to get on a run.
How Jalen Hurts is on pace to have best season in NFL, regardless of doubters
It starts with Tagovailoa as he looks to show everyone he can bounce back from concussions, play the quarterback position effectively, and avoid any type of head/neck injury moving forward. The former Alabama standout is incredibly talented, but his durability has constantly come into questioning. He had no issues making an impact versus the Rams on Monday as he completed 20 of 28 passes for 207 yards with one touchdown and an interception. Tagovailoa found wide receiver Tyreek Hill for the score and connected with Jaylen Waddle three times for 57 yards. Dolphin fans got concerned when they saw Tagovailoa go in head first for a tackle, but no injury happened. He laughed off his poor tackling form on the play, yet Tagovailoa has to continue being careful to keep himself healthy. He guided Miami to a 23-15 victory over the Rams on the road and posted at least one touchdown pass in all five games he’s played in. The Dolphins have eight games left on its schedule and with a 3-6 record, it can finish at 11-6 with a playoff berth if it wins out. Tagovailoa has a tough task in front of him, but it is nothing he can not handle as the leader.
Robert Griffin III, a former NFL quarterback, feels Miami is not the normal 3-6 team with Tagovailoa.
Miami isn’t your normal 3-6 team. With Tua Tagovailoa back they have better energy and confidence on both sides of the ball. They aren’t out of the playoff hunt and it’s gonna be a wild last half of the season.

He says the return of the former first-round pick gives the Dolphins energy on both sides of the ball.
We will see how Tagovailoa leads the team in the second half of its season.
