Alabama football is set to take on the Wisconsin Badgers at home for its third game of the season.

Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CST. The game will be broadcast on ABC.

The staff at Touchdown Alabama provides their predictions and analysis of the game.

Key Analysis: Alabama football has an opportunity to capitalize off the momentum it built against Louisiana-Monroe last Saturday. The Tide should enter this game with a more confident team on both sides of the football. It will be interesting to see if the Alabama offense has established a better rhythm at this point in the season. The Tide’s defense has an opportunity to stifle the Badgers’ offensive attack on today.

Prediction: Alabama: 38 Wisconsin: 17

Key Analysis: With a team like Wisconsin, who is unranked but looking for the opportunity to prove itself on a national stage, Alabama football must start fast at home to kill any hope the Badgers have for an upset alert. I expect the Crimson Tide offense to involve star wide receiver Ryan Williams early on after returning to action from a concussion. Tide receivers Germie Bernard, Rico Scott, and Isaiah Horton will also be called on early as Ty Simpson tests the Badgers’ secondary. This should set the tables for a balanced run to pass ratio to keep the Badgers’ defense on their toes. I also expect the Alabama defense to dial up consistent pressure to take down Wisconsin quarterback Danny O’Neil and bottle up running back Dillin Jones. By doing so, this will force Wisconsin into obvious pass situations on later downs. Alabama should win by a comfortable margin.

Prediction: Alabama: 38 Wisconsin: 14

Key Analysis: Alabama figured out a couple of things last week against ULM. Kevin Riley looks like the best running back the team has behind Jam Miller. Riley made the most of his 11 carries, rushing for 69 yards, including an explosive 22-yard burst. Riley will likely get multiple opportunities this week to carry the ball and possibly reciprocate or surpass the numbers he’s accumulated over the last two weeks, but the Alabama offense is also figuring out how to create explosive plays throughout the game. Germie Bernard is the guy in the wide receiver room this year, and the experienced pass catcher was moving all around the field last week, whether it was catching a shovel pass or motioning before the snap. Ryan Williams returns from a concussion, but with the production that Bernard has had so far this season, Williams won’t have to be the superstar that he was last year for the Crimson Tide to secure a victory today over a Wisconsin team that is coming into Tuscaloosa with a backup quarterback under center.

Prediction: Alabama: 48 Wisconsin: 13
