Alabama superstar Ryan Coleman-Williams finds himself entering a critical third year in Tuscaloosa this upcoming season.
Coleman-Williams has performed at an extremely high level across fall camp, and the junior appears ready to bounce back this season after an underwhelming sophomore campaign in 2025. The star route runner is set to be the Tide’s top receiving option following the departure of Germie Bernard, and Coleman-Williams could once again emerge as a dangerous weapon in a handful of different ways moving forward.
Coleman-Williams was recently asked about his versatility entering year three, as the route runner eluded to a potential punt return role across 2026 in addition to being the Tide’s top pass catcher.
“Got to wait and see on Saturday.” Coleman-Williams said.
Coleman-Williams is credited with 145 yards on 14 total punt returns across his first two years at Alabama. The junior returned just two punts across the 2025 season, but Coleman-Williams appears to be back in the mix for punt returning duties prior to kickoff this Saturday nonetheless.
