Aside from a couple of missed opportunities here and there, Nick Saban pleased with how Alabama performed in its victory over Duke.
Two guys were shaken up on different plays and although Jerry Jeudy was one of them, the elite receiver popped up and jogged off the field.
Emil Ekiyor Jr., redshirt freshman, sustained a knee injury in the second half.

The starter at left guard was helped into the locker room and was replaced by true freshman, Evan Neal.
While he was not particularly happy with the run blocking, Saban did say the Crimson Tide’s offensive unit was strong in pass protection – helping Tua Tagovailoa shred the Blue Devils for 336 passing yards and four scores on 26 of 31 completions in a 42-3 win.
Saban said Ekiyor’s injury is not anything serious.
“He may be out for a week or two,” Saban said of Ekiyor. “I don’t think it’s something really bad. It is something he has had before. So, most of the time those things are not that significant, but we will give him an MRI and check him out to make sure.”

Ekiyor, a four-star from Indianapolis, Ind., can play at either guard or center.
Hopefully, the Tide will have him back for week three versus South Carolina.
