After some highs and lows on last week, Tua Tagovailoa is starting to get the hang of facing an NFL defense.
He had a dominant showing (three touchdowns) with the Miami Dolphins in Monday’s practice, and his success continued on Tuesday.
The rookie quarterback from the University of Alabama is growing in confidence and aggressiveness on the field, according to team reports from Joe Schad and Cameron Wolfe.
Both are stating that Tagovailoa looks like a completely different player this week and his accuracy is on fire. Wolfe, in particular, said the native Hawaiian is looking like the guy he was at Alabama.

Miami drafted Tagovailoa at No. 5 in April.
He is the Crimson Tide’s all-time career leader for touchdown passes (87) and total scores (96).
The former five-star rescued the program to a national championship in 2017 and guided to a Southeastern Conference title in 2018.
He earned a host of individual accolades and was named a permanent team captain by his peers.
Despite a hip injury forcing him to miss the remainder of the 2019 campaign, he was still able to train for the National Football League and got drafted very high.

Even with Ryan Fitzpatrick serving as the starting quarterback, it’s only a matter of time before Tagovailoa takes over.
