Alabama Offers 3 Elite prospects

The University of Alabama is starting to make serious waves in recruiting.

Head coach Nick Saban and his coaching staff welcome a ton of talent on to campus this week for the start of summer camps. Many guys had the opportunity to show off their skill set to the coaches in question a week ago, which has sparked much attention for the 2019 and 2020 recruiting classes.

Tate Rutledge, a 2020 recruit, announced on Monday via Twitter that he received an offer from Alabama. Rutledge is a 6-foot-6, 271-pound offensive lineman from Darlington School in Rome, Ga.

He is huge for his age; however, Saban typically goes for the 6’6″ to 6’7″ linemen as offensive tackles because of their wingspan. Rutledge must have had an impressive showing at camp to receive an offer from Tide.

Despite him being offered by Auburn, Tennessee and Georgia, Tide’s offensive line coach Brent Key will not let a talent like this slip away. After putting Cam Robinson in the National Football League and working on Jonah Williams, a specimen like Rutledge would fit right into place at the Capstone.

Like Rutledge, Tyrion Davis also received an offer on Monday and announced it via Twitter.

Davis, who is a 2019 running back prospect, is no stranger to winning championship. He is currently a two-time high school state champion from Southern University Lab school in Baton Rouge, La. While ESPN and 247 Sports don’t have a ranking on him yet, expect to see a high grade as Davis pursues a chance at two more championships.

He is extremely fast and elusive.

Davis is also able to read blocks like a pro. He makes the must out of what his team mates give him and his runs are a thing of beauty. This guy is the real deal and he proved it in the 2016 state championship by ripping off 244 yards on just eight carries. Alabama will have to go to the Bayou once again and steal a running back commit out of LSU’s backyard. LSU is going to try to turn this guy into a the next Leonard Fournette.

Nakobe Dean, 2019 prospect, was the third guy to receive an offer from Alabama on Monday.

Linebackers that are able to read where a play is going before the ball is snap are very valuable.

It shows that they have invested time into watching game film and learning their opponent. Learning how to break down film at an early age is a huge advantage. Linebackers that do this rattle quarterbacks as well as running backs and receivers. It is quite frustrating when someone seems to know you’re every move, and if you add speed and amazing athletic ability to that equation, you will come up with Nakobe Dean.

He is one of those players that reads and attack.

As soon as he figures out what is going on; he is going in for the kill, a trait that Ruben Foster showed during his time in Tuscaloosa. The Mississippi native is a product of Horn Lake High School in Horn lake, Miss., the high school of former Nebraska Cornhusker and Super bowl winning running back, Brandon Jackson.

Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, LSU and Georgia have all already offered Dean, which goes to show how much SEC teams value linebackers. Alabama is going to be a dog fight for him.
