Ravens’ RB Mark Ingram preparing to face Titans this week, despite calf injury

Scott Galvin - USA TODAY Sports

He has been bothered by a slight calf issue, but Mark Ingram is preparing to lead the Baltimore Ravens to victory over the Tennessee Titans this weekend. After clinching a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, the Ravens will face the Titans in the AFC Divisional Round.

According to Jeff Zrebiec, who covers the Ravens for The Athletic, Ingram was at practice on Thursday.

The 30-year-old was voted to the Pro Bowl and collected his first 1,000-yard rushing season (1,018) with the team. Ingram has three career 1,000-yard campaigns as a running back and totaled four 100-yard outings this season. He has accounted for 15 total touchdowns (five receiving), which tied a franchise record.

As a former standout at the University of Alabama, Ingram will go head-to-head versus Derrick Henry.

The native Floridian and 2015 Heisman winner leads the National Football League in rushing with 1,540 yards and 16 touchdowns.

A lot of media personalities have the Ravens winning the Super Bowl; however, it will need Ingram to accomplish the feat.

Hopefully, he will be able to go on Saturday.
