Tua Tagovailoa confirms his NFL future

Tua Tagovailoa jogs off the field in 2020 after Dolphins defeat Raiders
Jasen Vinlove - USA Today Sports

We heard from the Miami Dolphins’ brass about Tua Tagovailoa’s future, but he was quiet about the situation.

On Friday, the former Alabama quarterback revealed his status for years to come. He endured multiple concussions in the 2022 season, but he produced a breakout year. Tagovailoa had 3,548 passing yards and 25 passing touchdowns. He ranked in the top 10 among signal-callers in the National Football League for different categories. Tagovailoa was in the NFL’s Most Valuable Player race and would have played in the postseason for the Dolphins if not for injuries. Darrell Bevell, Tagovailoa’s quarterback coach and passing game coordinator, is returning next season for Miami. He will have a vital part of his success back with him.

Tagovailoa shared a photo, confirming his future in the NFL with the Dolphins. He captioned it, “When one chapter ends, another begins. Proud of this last one, excited for the next one!”

Alabama fans are looking forward to seeing him bounce back next fall.
