Trevon Diggs celebrates a play

Former Alabama cornerback, Trevon Diggs claims Alabama is DBU in response to a graphic tweeted out by Pro Football Focus Monday.

The graphic asked who the best cornerback in the league is and featured Marlon Humphrey, Patrick Surtain II and Diggs, all of which attended Alabama.

Diggs quote tweeted the original tweet bringing up that all three players were nominated as All-Pros, and Alabama is known for developing defensive backs. The trio’s 2022 performances also led them to Pro Bowl selections with the following stats:

Humphrey had 53 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 3 interceptions

Surtain II had 46 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 2 interceptions

Diggs had 50 tackles, 3 interceptions, and 14 pass deflections.

The Tide will have several more defensive backs enter the league next year, as Brian Branch, Eli Ricks, Demarco Hellams, and Jordan Battle all expect to hear their names called in the 2023 NFL Draft.
