OJ Howard’s brief time with the Las Vegas Raiders came to an end on Tuesday when it was announced that he was released from the team.

Howard originally signed with the Raiders back on March 20.

Howard spent the 2022 season with the Houston Texans where he appeared in 13 games catching 10 passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns.

Prior to the Texans, Howard played five seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who selected him with the No. 19 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft following his career at Alabama.

After initially showing promise, Howard’s tenure with the Buccanneers ended following a few devastating injuries which included a ruptured Achilles tendon and an ankle injury.

He’ll now be looking for a new NFL home.
