Alabama football has had weapons as returners on kicks and punts during previous football seasons.

Will they have one in the upcoming season?

This element was something Alabama football lacked in its arsenal last season, having no touchdowns scored in either department.

Below, Touchdown Alabama breaks down five candidates who have the potential to handle return duties for Alabama in 2025:

1.) Cole Adams (WR) #7:

Adams returns for his redshirt junior season after serving as Alabama’s primary punt returner for seven games before suffering a season-ending lower leg injury against Missouri. In that span, Adams handled 11 punts for 58 yards, averaging 5.27 yards per return. The receiver also fielded a kickoff return for 15 yards. This experience and steadiness make Adams a prime candidate for Alabama’s punt returner position in 2025. The Crimson Tide’s coaching staff raved about the level of trust they have in him in the area on last season.

2.) Jaylen Mwbakwe (WR) #3:
