LSU makes major move for Vigor 4-Star LB

Isaac McNeil recently took an official visit to LSU to check out what the Tigers have to offer.

McNeil is a 2027 four-star linebacker prospect out of Vigor High School in Alabama. He currently has Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Jackson State, LSU and Texas A&M in his top seven.

NcNeil’s official visit with the Tigers checked a lot of boxes and improved LSU’s position for him.

“I had a great visit at LSU,” McNeil said. “The visit definitely moved them high up my list. They got great facilities. It was like a family atmosphere.”

The four-star left Baton Rouge feeling like he was wanted by the Tigers.

“They really want me and feel I can make an impact,” McNeil said.

Other schools listed on McNeil’s top school list are also expected to get an official visit from him. Alabama is in line to be the final team to host for an official visit in June.

McNeil recently visited the Tide and expressed how they are prioritizing him.

“They are saying that I am a high priority for them and that I can be a strong asset to their defense in the future,” said McNeil.

Each team pushing for McNeil is jockeying for position right now, with LSU gaining some momentum after a great official visit.

At 6-foot-2 and approximately 210 pounds, Alabama likes McNeil as an inside linebacker. He made plays as an inside linebacker and while rushing from the edge during the 2025 football season. His ability to make tackles in space and close on the football with great speed jumps out on film.
