Clay-Chalkville 2027 Edge pumped about official visit after first SEC offer

The Arkansas Razorbacks got one of the most underrated players in the 2027 recruiting class on campus recently after offering him.

Keith Richmond earned an offer from the Razorbacks earlier this month and made his way to Arkansas last week. Richmond, who attends Clay-Chalkville High School, now holds offers from Arkansas, Arkansas State, Tulane and others.

“That offer meant a lot to me,” Richmond told Touchdown Alabama. “It was my first SEC offer, really my favorite college football conference growing up.”

Richmond’s visit to Fayetteville has him pumped to return for an official visit in June.

“I went on a spring practice visit, and it was fun,” Richmond said. “They showed me a lot of love. I can’t wait to go back up there for an official visit.”

At 6-foot-3 and 227 pounds, Richmond is one of the most explosive edge rushers in the country. It is hard to find an edge defender who has a more explosive get-off than the Cougars’ star.

Richmond finished the 2025 season with 62 tackles, 12 sacks and 17 tackles for loss.
