This Alabama WR released a hype video on Christmas to get Tide fans excited for CFP

John David Mercer - USA Today Sports

The wheels are up in the air on the plane Alabama football is taking to California for the Rose Bowl.

Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide spent Christmas with their families, but now the focus has shifted to its College Football Playoff Semifinal matchup against Michigan. Betting sites in Las Vegas have the Wolverines as a 1.5 to 2-point favorite over Alabama; however, the Tide is seeking its 19th national championship in school history.

Isaiah Bond, a sophomore wide receiver, excited fans with his 31-yard, game-winning touchdown reception in the Iron Bowl.

The play, which is named “Fourth & Thirty-One” or “Gravedigger,” is now a Daniel Moore painting. Bond returned in the Southeastern Conference Championship Game and totaled five catches for 79 yards in Alabama’s 27-24 victory versus Georgia.

The native Georgian leads Alabama for receptions (44) and has 621 yards with four touchdowns. He dropped a hype video on Monday, wishing Tide fans a Merry Christmas while giving them excitement for what he could do in the Rose Bowl.

Bond has become a marquee playmaker for Jalen Milroe in the passing game. Coach Saban loves his competitiveness, development, and explosiveness as a receiver. Bond is prepared to torch Michigan’s defensive secondary.
