Week three of Alabama high school football delivered standout performances across the state.

These players set themselves apart under the Friday night lights:

• JaKenyon Allen, MGM (2027 ATH)

Allen found the end zone three different ways: an 86-yard kickoff return, a 63-yard rush and a receiving touchdown. Already holding offers from UAB, Georgia State, and Alabama State, the 2027 athlete continues to prove he’s among the most electric young talents in Alabama.

• AJ Alexander, Dothan (North Alabama RB Commit)

Alexander showed why he’s regarded as the premier running back in Class 7A. On just 20 carries, he posted 241 yards and 2 touchdowns, while also adding 2 receptions for 18 yards. His combination of power and explosiveness makes him one of the most consistent offensive threats in the state.

• Dylan Jackson, Vigor (Alabama A&M WR Commit)

Back at his natural position, Jackson turned in a monster performance with seven catches for 246 yards and 2 touchdowns. After stepping in at quarterback last season, the senior’s return to receiver has highlighted his elite playmaking ability, reminding everyone why he’s among the state’s top athlete recruits.

• Dylan Reese, Parker (QB, 2026)

Reese continues to make his case as one of Alabama’s most productive quarterbacks. On Friday, he racked up 351 passing yards and six touchdowns, further solidifying what’s shaping up to be one of the best seasons in the state at his position.

• Noah Moss, St. Michael’s (South Alabama RB Commit)

Moss carried the load with 29 rushing attempts, piling up 231 yards and three touchdowns. Week after week, he continues to prove why he belongs in the conversation as the best running back in Alabama, not just in his class.

• Jalijah Rutledge, Moody (2027 WR)

Widely regarded as the top pure wideout in the 2027 class, Rutledge once again put his polished skillset on display. He tallied 140 yards on six catches with two touchdowns, showcasing the route-running and separation ability that makes him such a coveted prospect.

• Jamison Roberts, Saraland (QB, 2027)

In his first year as the Spartans’ starting quarterback, Roberts has been sensational. His Week 3 stat line was 349 yards and five touchdowns.

• Delvecchio “Deuce” Alston II, Hewitt-Trussville (Kentucky RB Commit)

Alston once again proved why he’s an SEC-caliber back. He totaled 201 yards and two touchdowns, averaging an eye-popping 8.8 yards per carry. A reliable workhorse, the senior continues to dominate against top competition.

• Max Fowler, UMS-Wright (QB, 2027)

Under new head coach Sam Williams, Fowler has emerged as one of the state’s breakout stars. He threw for 208 yards and 4 touchdowns on Friday, cementing his place as one of the most improved and hardest-working players in Class 5A.

• Kendrick Able Jr., Theodore (RB, 2027)

The bruising 5-foot-10, 200-pound running back powered Theodore with 207 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries. His physical running style is carrying the Bobcats to a strong start in Class 6A and establishing him as one of the state’s most reliable backs.
